What’s sad is that the family moved to the town so their children could grow up in a safer neighborhood. Read the entire story by clicking the link below:.

Now check this out and trust me I am not making this up. Mind you the following incident happened while the NYPD is under increasing scrutiny for racial profiling.
Two of NY’s finest who happen to be white walked up to a SUV that belongs to the NYPD and asked the black man inside to get out an ID himself. After the black man a 3 star chief in the NYPD identified himself one of the two the geniuses decided it would be a great idea to argue with him. Now the idiot is on desk duty minus his gun and badge. Read the entire story by clicking the link below:

So today I am posting this great story about a young black girl from Pennsylvania found alive. Click the link below to read the details:

Philadelphia police chief Charles Ramsey went on local TV in Philadelphia to explain the recent police beating incident and to ask everyone to wait for the investigation to run it’s course. He explains some of the events preceding the beatings. He neither defends or attacks his officers although he says he is not proud of what he saw.

Check out this great interview with Laurence Fishbourne about his new one man play , “Thurgood” The play chronicles the life of the great civil rights leader and legal legend. The play is running in NY at the Booth Theatre from April 30 to July 20th and I hear Laurence is great in the part. Click the link below to watch the interview:
