Black museums need our help!

August 31, 2008

Black museums such as the United States Slavery Museum are struggling financially. They need our help. Oprah Winfrey and Bill Cosby can only do so much.

They are suffering because African Americans are not donating money to keep them going. Until today that included me. I did what I can and I am asking you to do the same.

One person doesn’t need to donate a lot.

If we can give $1, $2, $5, or $10 to BarackĀ  Obama to make history I am sure that we can donate those same small amounts to preserve our history.

That may not sound like much but if just 1 million of us donate a dollar that’s 1 million. It all adds up.
