We knew it was coming…the obligatory October surprise. However I think that unlike the last two Presidential elections, we have someone who won’t be pushed around and slandered. I truly believe that the great majority of American citizens have come to their senses. After the last 7 years it’s become painfully obvious that we don’t need somebody just like us in the White House…we need somebody a lot smarter than the average Joe.
From what I’ve been seeing, the Republican party as actively embraced fear and ignorance as a campaign strategy and that is a very sad statement.
Though in every election there is some corruption, fraud and disenfranchising of voters from both sides of the aisle, I think that the momentum is on the side of good this time around. We all must do our best to make sure the elections are fair and that every vote is counted.
I want Barack Obama to be our next President.
