This story is on the front page of the Sunday NY Post on 06/15/08. Now in fairness I must admit that the Post does seem to have some sort of persoanl animus toward Sharpton so keep that in mind when reading the story. While this is not the first time these accusations have surfaced this may be the first time a news organization and given businesses and names as to whom may have been shaken down. Some points:
The NY post admits that it has donated to Sharptons Organization NAN
It can only list 1 paying position that Sharpton was given. A $25,000 a year “diversity” board seat with PepsiCo.
Most “donations” were made to NAN ( National Action Network )

On May 1, 2008 Bill Cosby spoke in Newark NJ as a guest of Mayor Cory Booker. Bill gave his usual message about doing for self and he added this.
You’ve got these idiots who’ve got these degrees and some of them are ordained ministers and they say, ‘Bill, you’re picking on the poor,’” he said. He then drew laughs by adding, “Well, so did Jesus, then. Jesus was always telling someone, ‘Go ye.’ Jesus was al ways telling people to go somewhere. And, ‘Don’t do this again or don’t do that again.’”

For those who still believe the NYPD is not prejudice toward African Americans and has an us against “them” attitude when it comes to the Black Community now comes a story that someone called from a police unions office to taunt the Bell Family after the trial. What’s funny is that the cops say they can hand the situation. Click the link below to read the story:

First let me thank Howard Witt of the Chicago Tribune for sending me this story.
For those that don’t know there was a horrible rape attack in Florida at a place called Dunbar Village cmitted by a group of young black men against a black woman. Not only was a mother raped but she was then forced to perform oral sex on her 12 year old son. They both had household chemicals poured in their eyes and their attackers attempted to set them on fire.
The monsters that comitted this crime have been caught and have been denied bail. Enter Al Sharpton. He want’s these boys to have a chance to post bond while awaiting trial.
I honestly believe that Al Sharpton and the NAACP of which I am a member are wrong on this one. These boys committed a horrible crime and don’t deserve bond. You can read Howard’s article on this matter by clicking the link below:

Normally I would rather get a root canal without anesthesia than watch The View. But someone told me that Al Sharpton appeared on The View so I had my wife tie me to a chair to watch that segment. Al Sharpton speaks to the ladies about the political races now going on and about how race is playing a factor. He also talks about he is percieved as a polarizing force in race relations. He also finds time to tell Bill Clinton to shut up. You can watch the video by clicking the link below
