Rush Limbaugh to be dropped from NFL ownership group

Rush Limbaugh is expected to be dropped from a group bidding to buy the St. Louis Rams, according to three NFL sources.

Dave Checketts, the point man in the group attempting to buy the Rams, realizes he must remove Limbaugh as  member in the group in order to get approval from other NFL owners, the sources said.

Several black NFL Players, Al Sharpton, and NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith are speaking out publicly against conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh owning an NFL team. Al Sharpton has sent BFL Commissioner Goodell a letter.

Rush Limbaugh is a man that once said, ““Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.”
