Have race relations improved under President Obama?

In 2011 we will see both MLK Memorial opening and a black man sitting in the White House. Do you feel that race relations in the United States are better now than they were in 2008 when Barack Obama was elected?

    No. In fact, the number of right-wing hate organizations topped 1000 in 2010 according to this blog post from the Southern Poverty Law Center which has tracked groups along the full political spectrum since the 1980’s.

    Also, as always, the deteriorating economic condition in this country is leading the weaker among us to blame the typical scapegoats: minorities, recent immigrants and the poor.
