African American News: The week in review. By George Cook http://aareports.com/
Hi everyone it’s time for my timely, thoughtful and satiric insights into what has gone on in the past week that you and the world have been waiting for.
Today I will be touching on stories about President Obama & BET, Cornell West, Tavis Smiley, C-span, and Lamont Hill.
To start things off news broke that President Obama will be appearing on BET. on October 14, 2010. Our hard working sources here at AAreports have confirmed that as of now President Obama will not be surrounded by bikini clad girls shaking their asses or making their bootys clap.
In other news Tavis Smiley and Cornell West are doing a radio show together. The show is titled Smiley & West. This is only after Public Radio International convinced the two to change the title from ” !@@$ President Obama! ”
Dr. Lamont Hill will now be the host of Our World with Black Enterprise. I don’t know if this is a good or bad move but if it keeps his ass off Bill O’Rielly’s show I’m all for it.
On C-span this past week a 90 year old racist woman called in to ask the colored man a question. There’s nothing to add to this story it speaks for itself. Check it out.
Well that’s it for this week. Enjoy your day and please check out the stories above. Check out more of my brilliant writing in my e-Book for the Amazon Kindle Let’s Talk Honestly: One black man’s thoughts
