Bertony Faustin didn’t set out to be Oregon’s first black winemaker. He just wanted to make good wine. But the disbelief that often comes when customers realize a black man owns the winery has worn on him. “People are always surprised. An action filed in Federal District Court in Raleigh, North Carolina, hundreds of individuals all across the United States have added their voices to a growing chorus accusing Ephren W. Taylor II, “America’s youngest African American CEO of a public company,” of operating a series of brazen Ponzi schemes that enriched him but left dozens of victims destitute.

Gabrielle Union teams up with Bounty to clean up public schools

With actress Gabrielle Union  as it’s spokeperson Procter & Gamble’s Bounty brand, in partnership with HandsOn Network and the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation has announced the “Make a Clean Difference” program which will unite more than 1000 volunteers to transform the learning environments of 30 public schools in 10 cities across the country.
