While most of us may have heard that both Keith Ellison and Thomas Perez are vying to become DNC chairman, many more of us aren’t aware of other candidates running for that position. One such candidate is South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Jaime Harrison. Once I became aware that he was running I reached out to him via Twitter to set up a interview and he quickly responded to my request. Check out my interview with Chairman Jaime Harrison on why he believes that he is the right person to be DNC chair. http://www.africanamericanreports.com/2017/01/interview-with-jaime-harrison-candidate.html

49074843-cachedWhat is up with Dr. Ben Carson? Just a week after leading many of us to believe that he may have a little common sense to go along with his book sense by saying that he wouldn’t serve in a Trump administration because he didn’t have the experience of leading a federal agency he seems to have put himself back in the running again for a spot in a Trump administration. Why what you call a terrorist doesn’t matter lesson for dummies!

15 Jun

Today, an annoyed President Obama addressed Donald Trump’s ridiculous statements about a Muslim ban in the wake of the Orlando shootings. He also took on those who whine because President Obama and his administration doesn’t use terms like radical Islam or radical jihadist terrorism. In his own way he broke it down to say that it doesn’t make a difference what we call them, they will still try to attack us. Most rational people would get the President’s argument but Trump and his supporters and like ilk just don’t get it. So I’m here to explain it to them using something they can understand, zombies. Interview with Leo Smith: GOP operative who believes Trump can get 20% of black vote

Leo Smith is the minority engagement director for the Georgia GOP. Mr. Smith caught my attention because of an article in which he stated that he believed that Donald Trump could get 20% of the black vote in the general election, triple what Mitt Romney got in 2012.

I wanted to know how he thought that could happen. I reached out to him on Memorial Day weekend, and Mr. Smith got back to me to set up this interview. Listen to Mr. Smith explain how he feels Trump can get 20% of the black vote here: http://www.africanamericanreports.com/2016/05/interview-with-leo-smith-gop-operative.html

The #BernieOrBust movement is is full swing even though Sander’s chances of winning the nomination are slim to none at this point. The Sanders supporters drone on about what they believe is Hillary’s dishonesty, her ties to Wall Street, things she said as First Lady and anything else they can pull out their butts as reasons that they can not now or ever vote for her.

Well I have four very good reasons why Sanders supporters should get over their disdain for Hillary Clinton, go in the voting booth, hold their noses, and vote for her. Read those reasons here: http://www.africanamericanreports.com/2016/04/four-reasons-bernie-sanders-supporter.html
