Lauryn Hill sentencing postponed; singer has two weeks to pay $504k in back taxes

She appeared in court for sentencing after failing to report $1.8 million in income to the federal government, but U.S. Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo postponed it saying that Hill has two weeks to pay $504,000 in back taxes. Rappers plea: Fathers take care of your kids

Everyone including me is quick to bash Hip Hop for all of the negativity it puts out there so I think it’s only right we give it love when it puts positive messages out there. Check out this video by Scram Carolina titled Deadbeat Daddys in which he implores fathers to spend time with their children. His song can do something many of us can’t and that’s reach these young men in a langauge they understand.
